‘Open Space’ Walk in Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY -- The Tewksbury Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee and Friends of Tewksbury Open Space are hosting an open space walk on Saturday, Nov. 10. The guided walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. along the Pinnacle Loop Trail. Reservations are not required. Dogs on leashes are allowed. Garden club celebrates 49 years

TEWKSBURY -- The Tewksbury Garden Club is hosting a gala event on Wednesday, Nov. 14 to celebrate its 49th anniversary. The event will begin at 7 a.m. at the Tewksbury Country Club, located at 1880 Main St. There will be door prizes, raffle baskets and a complimentary dessert bar. All proceeds will go toward scholarships, the Festival of Trees, garden therapy for seniors, beautification of war memorials and more. ‘Wreaths’ come to Billerica

BILLERICA -- Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica will participate in Wreaths Across America for the first time this year. The cemetery is working to raise enough funds to place 2,200 wreaths on veterans’ graves, joining 1,500 locations nationwide taking on similar initiatives. Annual craft fair in Wilmington

WILMINGTON -- The St. Thomas of Villanova Annual Craft Fair is set for Saturday, Nov. 17. The event will take place at the church, located at 216 Middlesex Ave., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a variety of crafters from across New England, raffles, coffee, doughnuts and lunch. Laughs for Love at Lenzi’s

DRACUT -- The annual Laughs for Love comedy and casino night is Friday, Nov. 9, at Lenzi’s Banquet Hall, 810 Merrimack Ave., Dracut. Laughs for Love is a fundraiser for Mustard Seed Communities. Casino night starts at 7 p.m., with three comedians -- Wes Hazard, Lamont Price and Dan Crohn -- starting at 9. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Also, the cost is only $60 per couple. Rotary Club hosts annual auction

WILMINGTON -- The Wilmington Rotary Club is hosting its annual auction on Friday, Nov. 16. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus, located at 112 Middlesex Ave. Attendees can participate in a number of raffles. The grand prize is $10,000. Proceeds from the fundraiser support student scholarships for Wilmington High School seniors. Proceeds will also benefit other projects around town and the Rotary International initiatives.
