Multiple people airlifted to hospitals following Interstate 84 wreck in East Idaho

On Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 9:14 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash eastbound on I84 at mile marker 232.2, east of Burley, ID.

Brian D. Hart, 27, of Buckeye, AZ, was driving eastbound in a 2004 Mercedes ML350. Hart drove off the roadway where the vehicle rolled into the median.

Hart was transported by Lifeflight Network to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID. There were two passengers in the vehicle. Britney M. Irish, 27, of West Valley, UT, was transported by Air St. Luke’s to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. Thomas L. Hart, 39, of West Valley, UT, was transported by ground ambulance to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley, ID.

None of the occupants were wearing seat belts.

Idaho State Police was assisted at the scene by Cassia County Sheriff’s Office, Intermountain Cassia Regional Paramedics, and Malta Ambulance.
