Nadler hired by AP to cover Georgia politics

ATLANTA (AP) — Ben Nadler, an accomplished multimedia journalist, is joining The Associated Press bureau in Atlanta.

Nadler, 29, will primarily cover Georgia politics. He previously worked at AP’s headquarters in New York, where he managed text and multimedia products for the news cooperative. Nadler also worked as a reporter for The Daily Nation newspaper in Nairobi, Kenya.

The announcement was made Monday by South Region News Director Ravi Nessman and Deep South News Editor Jim Van Anglen.

Nadler earned a master’s degree from the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri. While there, he covered crime, courts and local politics at The Columbia Missourian. He also has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut, where he majored in English with a minor in history.
