World Cup races Kitzbuehel delayed due to snowfall
KITZBUEHEL, Austria (AP) — Organizers are delaying the start of Sunday’s final two World Cup races at the Hahnenkamm event by three hours because of snowfall.
FIS says the super-G has been pushed back until 1.15 p.m. local time (1215 GMT) on a shortened course as the start will be lowered. A slalom run is now scheduled for a 6 p.m. (1700 GMT) start under floodlights.
The super-G is a separate race but also counts as the first portion of a combined event, which adds the results of the super-G and the slalom.
