August 21, 2018

STAMFORD — An East Side man has been accused of dealing cocaine out of his car and the room he’s been renting.

Capt. Richard Conklin said officers in the Narcotics and Organized Crime squad learned that Oleg Kokosh, 28, of Grant Avenue, was selling powder cocaine out of his rented bedroom while also making deals around the city out of his Honda Accord.

Conklin said officers conducted surveillance of his home and followed him to the corner of East Main Street and Lockwood Avenue where it appeared he was waiting for someone.

Conklin said officers searched the vehicle and found nine grams of cocaine in the center console and three more grams in a DVD case.

Officers found 17 grams of powder cocaine and more than an ounce of marijuana in his Grant Avenue bedroom.

Kokosh was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell. He was released after posting a $5,000 court appearance bond.
