DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ NASCAR levied fines against three teams Thursday for rules violations uncovered last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Chris Carrier, crew chief for the No. 30 Chevrolet driven by Joe Nemechek, was fined for $2,000 because the A-frame of the car did not meet the minimum thickness requirements.

Greg Connor, crew chief for the No. 50 Chevrolet driven by Rick Mast, was fined $1,000 for the same violation.

Todd Berrier, crew chief for the Busch Grand National car driven by Kevin Harvick, was fined $5,000 for an oversized fuel cell container.
