PAUL, Minn. _ Minnesota’s legislative auditor releases a report on whether the Department of Human Services has adequate controls to prevent, detect, and investigate fraud in the state’s troubled Child Care Assistance Program. Prosecutors have already shows that $5 million to $6 million has been defrauded from the program, and Auditor James Nobles has already said his investigators believe the actual amount is higher.
