Two jailed on drug charges

GRAYSON, Ky. — One person was arrested in connection with drug trafficking following a search warrant executed Wednesday by the Fiveco Area Drug Enforcement (F.A.D.E.) Task Force at a residence in Grayson, Kentucky.

Clayton “Guy” Hill, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, is charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree.

Detectives recovered approximately 65 grams of fentanyl, 2 grams of heroin, 435 grams of marijuana, 417 marijuana plants, “several other illegal narcotics and paraphernalia,” more than $4,000 cash, five handguns and one shotgun.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.

The following information was provided by criminal complaints filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court:

POSSESSION WITH INTENT: Two people were arrested Wednesday in the 300 block of Davis Street in Huntington after a search warrant was executed following information from a confidential informant.

Devonte Antonie McDaniel, 29, and Bree Elizabeth Eberbaugh, 26, were both jailed at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged McDaniel with two counts and Eberbaugh with one count of possession with intent to deliver. McDaniel’s bond was set at $200,000 and Eberbaugh’s bond was set at $100,000.

The complaints state McDaniel and Eberbaugh allegedly delivered heroin to a confidential informant on July 23 in the 300 block of Davis Street. The

search warrant was executed at the residence on Davis Street where McDaniel was allegedly found to be in possession of 5 grams of heroin in eight separate bundles.

The Cabell County Sheriffs Department drug unit and the FBI Task Force executed the warrant.

Fraudulent use of a credit card — value less than $1,000, 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of 9th Avenue.

Petit larceny, stolen auto/auto theft, 8 a.m. Tuesday, 100 block of Oney Avenue.

Deceased person, 11 p.m. Saturday, 2700 block of 4th Avenue.

Petit larceny, burglary, entry of dwelling or outhouse, 8:45 p.m. Monday, 2400 block of Artisan Avenue.

Petit larceny, 10 a.m. Sunday, 1100 block of 3rd Avenue.

Possession of contraband, 7:22 p.m. Monday, 900 block of West 9th Street.

Destruction of property — felony, 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, 400 block of Main Street, Guyandotte.

Battery, 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of Jackson Avenue.

Stolen auto/auto theft, 5:40 a.m. Tuesday, unit block of Kirk Place.

Disorderly conduct, panhandling/begging money, 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, 1500 block of Madison Avenue.

Warrant service/execution, 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, 1000 block of Washington Avenue.

Paraphernalia, warrant service/execution, possession of a controlled substance, 11:08 a.m. Monday, 900 block of Washington Avenue.

The following information was provided by booking records kept at Western Regional Jail:

Anthony Dwayne Miles, 38, was jailed at 4 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a home confinement violation. Bond was not set.

Kevin Franklin Durst, 39, was jailed at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. Bond was not set.

Christopher Jerome Stinson, 29, was jailed at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with conspiracy, fleeing on foot, obstructing and fleeing from an officer. He was also jailed on a parole hold. Bond was not set.
