Marcella ‘Marci’ Fenske -- Rochester

Marcella “Marci” Fenske, age 85, of Rochester and recently of Osage, Iowa, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Marcella has donated her body to the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, with the hope that her gift will assist in research.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage, with the Rev. Bruce Kaltwasser officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. There will be a time to greet the family and have lunch in the church hall following the service.

Marci was born Sept. 4, 1933, in St. Ansgar, the daughter of Alton and Gladys (Intorf) Grap. She graduated from Osage High School in 1952. Marci was a restaurant and bar owner for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Marci enjoyed playing bridge, shopping, eating and cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Marci is survived by her children, Carol Decklever of Rochester, Bob (Tracy) Decklever of Oronoco, and Mike (Rose) Decklever of Byron; grandchildren, Eric Ross, Christine Hachfeld, Jamie Schulz, Jacob Decklever and Claire Decklever; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Phyllis Moss of Osage, Lola (Ron) Low of Osage and Debbie Starkey of Charles City, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diane Decklever; and grandson, Jason Peterson.
