Get ready for Braash Avenue to get “rocked” this weekend

August 10, 2018

NORFOLK - Part of Braasch Avenue in front of the Zone After school Program will be closed Saturday afternoon for Rock The Block.

The Zone’s biggest fundraiser of the year will include food trucks, inflatables, a kid’s carnival, and more.

Board Member Gina Clyde says they will also have live music at the event.

“This year we have the Begats and After Arizona are performing. So we’re excited to have both of those bands there as they will be playing throughout the evening. Even if you don’t have children and you can come down and listen to live music and get food from the food trucks we’ll have there.”

Rock The Block is also featuring a raffle where you can buy tickets to potentially win Husker football tickets, a Fuji film camera, Henry Doorley Zoo family pass, sacred yoga gift basket, or a Rock Barn Outfitter gift certificate.

Admission is $5 a person or $20 for a family and will go from 5 to 8.
