LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Chan Ho Park pitched 7 2-3 strong innings to outduel Mike Hampton, and Shawn Green had two RBIs as the Los Angeles Dodgers won their eighth straight home series with a 4-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night.

Park (6-4) allowed a run and four hits, struck out nine and issued a season-high six walks. The right-hander entered with a 6.60 career ERA against Colorado, but allowed just two hits through the first 5 1-3 innings before Todd Helton hit his 17th homer for his major league-leading 59th RBI to cut Los Angeles’ lead to 2-1.

But Green made it 4-1 in the sixth with a drive to the gap in right-center, after a leadoff walk to Jeff Reboulet and a single by Mark Grudzielanek.

Park, who threw 124 pitches, left in the eighth with runners at first and second. Mike Fetters walked Jeff Cirillo, and then center fielder Marquis Grissom caught Todd Walker’s bid for a grand slam on the warning track.

Jeff Shaw pitched a pefect ninth for his league-leading 16th save.

Hampton (7-2) allowed four runs _ two earned _ and four hits in six innings with eight strikeouts. Despite the loss, the left-hander has allowed fewer than three earned runs in seven of his last eight starts. The only blemish was May 15, when he gave up five earned runs in a 5-3 loss in Atlanta.
