N.J. H.S. Coach Commits Suicide
GARFIELD, N.J. (AP) _ A high school basketball coach committed suicide by jumping in front of a train hours after being arrested for allegedly molesting a student, police said.
Edward Kotwica, 51, was accused Tuesday of fondling a girl, now 17, in his gym class at Garfield High in northern New Jersey over the past four years. He was freed on $50,000 bail.
On Wednesday morning, he apparently jumped in front of an NJ Transit train, prosecutor Patricia Baglivi said.
