Universal Technical: Fiscal 1Q Earnings Snapshot
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ Universal Technical Institute Inc. (UTI) on Tuesday reported a loss of $7.7 million in its fiscal first quarter.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said it had a loss of 36 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 17 cents per share.
The school for auto, motorcycle and marine technicians posted revenue of $83.1 million in the period.
Universal Technical expects full-year revenue in the range of $322 million to $332 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company’s shares hit $3.46. A year ago, they were trading at $2.69.
