Ceramists, woodturners and artists from across the Houston area are joining together this Saturday to help fight hunger through the 15th Annual Empty Bowls Houston event and invite you to help.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft at 4848 Main, the event will benefit the Houston Food Bank and feature more than 1,500 unique, hand-crafted bowls to shop and take home for just a $25 donation. Larger bowls will also be available for a higher price. Each $25 donation will provide 75 meals to those in need.

“The empty bowls purchased serve as a reminder of all the empty bowls in our community and the world,” according to a press release.
