TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) _ Juan Dixon scored 25 points and No. 2 Maryland clinched at least a share of the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season championship with a 96-63 victory over Florida State on Wednesday night.

The Terrapins (24-3, 14-1), who have won 11 consecutive games, can clinch the title outright on Sunday with a victory over Virginia in the final game at Maryland's Cole Field House.

Maryland used a 16-2 run to take a 22-9 lead and was never in trouble, holding leads of 30 points or more for much of the second half.

Drew Nicholas added 15 points for Maryland, which shot 55.2 percent, including 9-of-16 from 3-point range, while Byron Mouton had 12 and Calvin McCall 10.

Dixon was 8-of-13 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.

Monte Cummings scored 17 points for Florida State (11-15, 4-11), while Nigel Dixon added 15 points and 10 rebounds and J.D. Bracy had 11 points.

Florida State closes out its fourth straight losing season Saturday against Georgia Tech.
