Lutheran High Northeast football back on track after shocking Howells/Dodge
The Lutheran High Northeast football team is 3-1 on the season after shocking previously ranked Howells/Dodge 52-30 on the road last Friday in a game heard on 106 KIX.
Jaxson Kant had four touchdowns on the night. He ran for 234 yards off 34 carries and three scores. Kant also threw a touchdown and 143 yards. Teammate Kalvin Watts scampered for 110 yards off just six carries and two scores and Connor Wilcox collected 14 tackles with a sack and a tackle for loss. The Eagles, who are ranked eighth in the Lincoln Journal Star and ninth in the Omaha World Herald, have beaten Winnebago, Omaha Nation, & Howells/Dodge while falling to Wakefield. They are outscoring their opponents on average through four contests 66.8-39.5.
