Holthaus running for District 5 alderwoman
Jill Holthaus is running unopposed for District 5 in the upcoming general election in Watertown. The position is currently held by Alderman Steve Zgonc.
Her statement of candidacy follows:
“I grew up in Watertown, graduated from Watertown Senior High School, and then Marquette University. I was employed by Lindberg/Blue M in Watertown, transferred to Asheville, North Carolina, then relocated to Watertown to become involved in philanthropic efforts with Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I am now director of planned giving with Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. I look forward to learning more about civic government, representing my district, and discovering new opportunities and developing a strategy for growing Watertown’s business and cultural climate. I believe in diversity, economic growth and creating an atmosphere of success.”
