2 men accused of fatal shooting ordered held without bail
BARNSTABLE, Mass. (AP) — Two men are being held without bail after pleading not guilty to killing a 19-year-old man on Cape Cod.
The Cape Cod Times (http://bit.ly/1LyAvvM ) reports that 24-year-old Kyle Walker, of Yarmouth, and 19-year-old Keven Seme, of Brockton, were arraigned in Barnstable District Court on Monday on murder charges related to the shooting Friday of 19-year-old David Anthony Colon in what police say was an apparent drug sale.
The suspects’ attorneys argued their clients should be released on bail since the evidence presented was not enough to place them at the shooting.
Seme’s attorney suggested his client was arrested because he is a black male and due to his association with Walker.
Both men are due back in court July 17.
