Bohacek welcomes local students to Statehouse

INDIANAPOLIS – State Sen. Mike Bohacek, R-Michiana Shores, welcomed the following students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January and February:

Max Albano, from La Porte, attends Notre Dame Catholic School;

Braeden Barr, from La Porte, attends New Prairie High School;

Paul Clingenpeel, from Walkerton, is a homeschooled student;

Agnes Cook, from Walkerton, is a homeschooled student;

Aidan Cook, from Walkerton, is a homeschooled student;

Louis Cook, from Walkerton, is a homeschooled student;

Olivia Cook, from Walkerton, is a homeschooled student;

Morgan Hinz, from Hanna, attends South Central Jr./Sr. High School;

Elaine Jensen, from La Porte, attends La Lumiere School;

Josiah Ritter, from Walkerton, is a homeschooled student;

Caden Wiatrowski, from Walkerton, attends La Porte High School;

Madison Wiatrowski, from Walkterton, attends La Porte High School

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse, touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senators.

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
