Motorcycle rider hurt in crash in Lanesboro

LANESBORO — A Rochester man was injured Sunday when the motorcycle he was riding crashed on a bridge near Lanesboro.

Caleb John Evans, 23, of Rochester, was southbound on Minnesota Highway 250 at Golden Drive in Lanesboro at about 12:28 p.m. Sunday. He lost control of the motorcycle on a curve and struck the side of the bridge over the Root River.

Evans was taken via Lanesboro Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Hospital – Saint Marys with non-life threatening injuries. No updates on his condition were available.

The Fillmore County Sherrif’s Office also responded to the scene.
