2 state parks at full capacity

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — People are enjoying the outdoors on a beautiful day. Two state parks in Connecticut are at full parking capacity.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says as of noon, Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middletown was closed to new vehicles after reaching full parking capacity.

The Connecticut Post reports Squantz Pond State Park in New Fairfield was also full by 2:20 p.m. The weather in the town is 75 degrees and sunny.

Other parks remain open, other than Wharton Brook State Park in North Haven, which remains closed due to storm damage.
