June 26, 2019

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say the president of the Modesto Hells Angel Motorcycle Club, his wife and two others have been charged for allegedly being part of a drug trafficking ring that sold methamphetamine.

U.S. Attorney McGregor W. Scott announced Tuesday those charged are 61-year-old Randy Picchi, who is president of the club, and his wife, 51-year-old Tina Picchi. Also charged are 61-year-old Michael Mize and 32-year-old Michael Pack.

Prosecutors say Picchi allegedly led a drug conspiracy and directed his wife to regularly deliver drugs to Mize and other individuals in Ceres. They say Picchi also enlisted Pack to help obtain methamphetamine on at least one occasion.

If convicted, each defendant faces up to life in prison and a $10 million fine.
