INDIANAPOLIS _ Nearly six years after Planned Parenthood’s Indiana and Kentucky affiliates merged, the group is entering into an alliance with a Planned Parenthood affiliate that operates clinics in Hawaii and three Western states. Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands announced Friday it will become the parent organization of Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky.
HOMELESS OUTSIDE COUNT, from LOUISVILLE, Ky. _ An annual count from the Coalition for the Homeless in Louisville, Kentucky, showed a drop from last year in the number of homeless sleeping outside in January.
UTILITY RATES, from FRANKFORT, Ky. _ The Public Service Commission says it has scheduled meetings to get public comment on rate increase requests from Louisville Gas and Electric Co. and Kentucky Utilities.
