Crocs: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
NIWOT, Colo. (AP) _ Crocs Inc. (CROX) on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $30.4 million.
The Niwot, Colorado-based company said it had profit of 35 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 27 cents per share.
The footwear company posted revenue of $328 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $321.5 million.
For the current quarter ending in October, Crocs said it expects revenue in the range of $240 million to $250 million. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $244.3 million.
Crocs shares have climbed 43 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
