NEW YORK (AP) _ Craig Amos scored 32 points, including 20 in the second half, as St. Joseph's beat Fordham 87-75 Saturday.

Carlin Warley added 16 points and Bernard Blunt 15 for St. Joe's (5-2).

Fred Herzog led Fordham (2-4) with 23 points, while Dewey Stinson added 18 off the bench. It was the third straight loss for the Rams.

Amos scored seven points as St. Joe's built a 27-15 lead with 6:47 remaining in the first half. But Fordham rallied to cut the deficit to 36-33 at halftime.

The Rams pulled to 45-44 on a 3-pointer by Herzog with 16:07 left. But St. Joe's then scored nine straight points, seven by Amos, to take a 54-44 lead with 12:46 remaining. Fordham never got closer than six points after that.
