Jake Owen’s tour to stop at Big Sandy arena

HUNTINGTON — With his latest single, “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” now sitting No. 1 on the charts, country hitmaker Jake Owen has racked up seven No. 1 songs.

Fans can hear them all live in concert this fall as Owen’s “Life’s Whatcha Make It” tour rolls into the Big Sandy Superstore Arena on Friday, Oct. 26.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10. Tickets will be on sale at www.LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster outlets, the arena box office and by calling 800-745-3000.

Special guests for the tour include veteran country rocker David Lee Murphy, known for such hits as “Dust on the Bottle,” as well as newcomer Morgan Wallen, who shot to fame with his collaboration with Florida Georgia Line, “Up Down.”

Owen, who plays after the Cincinnati Reds game on Saturday, has chalked up six other No. 1 hits, including the two times platinum anthem, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” and platinum-certified, “Beachin.′ ” The Florida native is touring off of his fifth studio album, “American Love,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 4 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart.
