New Fairfield residents reminded of upcoming extended road closure

NEW FAIRFIELD — Town police are reminding residents that Saw Mill Road will be closed for several months in the coming weeks.

Saw Mill Road will be closed to through traffic starting on or about April 1, police said. The road is being shut down so the Saw Mill Road bridge can be replaced by a new bridge. The closure is expected to continue through mid-November, police said.

The exact date will be posted via Facebook once it has been locked down.
