Manhattan 62, Marist 59

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) _ Keith Bullock’s layup with 26 seconds left in the game gave Manhattan a 62-59 victory over Marist on Tuesday night.

Bullock, who scored 24 points, put the Jaspers (3-1) ahead 60-59. After the Red Foxes (1-3) called consecutive time-outs, Dexter Dunbar missed a shot and Manhattan’s Chris Williams rebounded and was fouled at the buzzer.

Marist opened a 38-31 lead with 17:35 to play. But the Jaspers tied the game 42-all on Casey Edwards’ 3-pointer with 14 minutes left. Five more ties ensued before Manhattan took the lead for good on Bullock’s layup.

Edwards added 13 points and Williams had 10 for Manhattan. Andy Lake led Marist with 16 points and Fred Ingles added 15.
