Vikings’ Moss Shows No Ill Effects
MANKATO, Minn. (AP) _ Minnesota Vikings receiver Randy Moss was back on the practice field Monday, going through a full workout and showing no effects from a bruised shoulder and ribs.
``Randy’s a very tough player,″ coach Dennis Green said. ``He and Cris (Carter) have great work habits.″
Moss was injured on a spectacular 55-yard catch and run in the second quarter of Saturday’s 25-24 preseason loss to the New Orleans Saints. He landed on his shoulder after hurdling a defender inside the 5-yard line.
Moss wore extra padding around his ribs during Monday’s workout.
