Juneau to join other cities in National Night Out

August 1, 2018

JUNEAU -- The city of Juneau will host its Fifth annual National Night Out Aug. 7.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for and participation in local anticrime efforts; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

From 6-8 p.m. Aug. 7, the Juneau Police Department will be hosting an open house at the Juneau Public Safety Building located at 128 E. Cross St., Juneau.

Residents in Juneau and Dodge County are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on their outside lights and spend the evening getting to know their neighbors and local police.

For additional information call Juneau Police Sgt. Brittany Borchardt at 920-386-4810.
