Norfolk man arrested in connection with Yankton woman’s death

NORFOLK - A 47-year-old Norfolk man has been charged with arson after being arrested during the investigation into the death of a South Dakota woman on the Santee Sioux Indian reservation in extreme northern Nebraska.

The United States Attorney’s Office says officers arrested Joseph Lloyd James while investigating the death of Phyllis Hunhoff of Yankton, South Dakota.

Prosecutors accuse James of setting fire to Hunhoff’s car.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office is releasing few details in the case, stating the matter is an ongoing investigation.
