According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

Deputies charged a 36-year-old Augusta woman Tuesday with unlawful use of a tag, operating a vehicle uninsured and driving without a license after she was pulled over on Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta.

A 41-year-old Aiken man reported Tuesday a 32-year-old man had assaulted him at his Fields Road residence. The victim said he was in his room watching wrestling when the suspect showed up and punched him on the left cheek for no apparent reason.

A 24-year-old Hopkins man was charged Wednesday morning with driving under suspension second offense after he was pulled over on I-20 near mile marker 15 in Aiken County.

An employee at a restaurant on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater called police Wednesday morning claiming three individuals left without paying for their food.

The manager at a store on Pine Log Road in Warrenville reported Tuesday two unknown women purchased items with a counterfeit bill and received change in legitimate cash.

A 55-year-old Graniteville woman reported Tuesday a 30-year-old Aiken woman hit her vehicle on Gregg Highway in Aiken, causing minor damage. The Aiken woman told deputies she hit the woman’s car with her hand, but caused no damage.

A 46-year-old Graniteville man called police Tuesday claiming someone had stolen an undetermined amount of cash from his Telegraph Drive residence. The victim said he believes it was a juvenile, because his son told him the juvenile recently was flaunting a large amount of cash to his friends despite having no job.

An Aiken woman reported Tuesday someone broke into her Augusta Road property in Warrenville. The victim said she had given a friend permission to go by the property to get some things, but, upon arrival, her friend found the front door kicked in.

An Aiken woman called police Tuesday claiming someone broke into her vehicle while it was parked outside her Andrews Circle residence. She told deputies her stereo system had been stolen from inside the car.

Deputies charged an Aiken woman Tuesday with shoplifting and possession of marijuana after she was caught attempting to steal merchandise from a Edgefield Highway store.

A North Augusta woman reported Tuesday someone broke into her Dundee Drive property and she needed deputies to come to clear it. Deputies arrived on the scene and found no one in the home, but they did report seeing forced entry to a rear window.

Deputies charged a 58-year-old Graniteville man Monday with possession of meth and possession of a controlled substance after he was pulled over and searched on Connector Road for having a taillight out on his vehicle.

According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 52-year-old Aiken woman reported Tuesday someone had opened the gate outside her Greenwich Drive home in the wrong direction, causing damage to it.

A 50-year-old Aiken man reported Tuesday his car was damaged while going through a car wash on Richland Avenue in downtown Aiken. The victim said he told the manager of the car wash about the damage, but said the manager did not appear too concerned about it.
