Arson among reported incidents in Huntington area

HUNTINGTON — The following information was provided by reports from the Huntington Police Department:

The Huntington Police Department listed eight new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to a printout released by the department.

However, the individual police reports were not made available to the public, so these are the only known details of the arrests:

Possession of marijuana, possession of contraband, 6 a.m. Wednesday, Interstate 64 mile marker 6.

Possession of a controlled substance, warrant execution, 12:59 a.m. Wednesday, 1400 block of 5th Avenue.

Disorderly conduct, falsely reporting an emergency incident, 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, 600 block of 5th Avenue.

Burglary, entry of a dwelling or outhouse, Sept. 28, 2100 block of 11th Avenue.

First-degree arson, 8:07 a.m. Tuesday, 200 block of 6th Avenue.

Leaving the scene — property damage, 12:08 a.m. Tuesday, 31st Street and 8th Avenue.

Intoxication or drinking in public places, illegal possession of alcoholic liquor, disorderly conduct, 2:08 a.m. Tuesday, 2900 block of 1st Avenue.

Assisting an outside agency, 10:51 p.m. Monday, 2800 block of 5th Avenue.

The following information is provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail:

Jamar Redrick James, 26, was jailed at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a bond violation. Bond was not set.

Dale Wayne Kilgore, 49, was jailed at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with a bond violation. Bond was not set.

Timothy Wade Hively, 52, was jailed at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Putnam County jailed him on an active warrant. Bond was not set.
