Alice Mae Wilson
Alice Mae Wilson, 58, of Kankakee, passed away Sept. 29, 2018, at her home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Lax Mortuary in Kankakee. Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens of Memory, Kankakee.
Alice Mae Wilson was born May 8, 1960, in Hollandale, Miss., the daughter of V.L. and Carrie Mae Johnson Wilson. She worked as a babysitter.
Surviving are two sons, Reginald Wilson and Donnie Tucker, both of Kankakee; three daughters, Asia Wilson, Alicia Hammond and Angelique Tucker, all of Kankakee; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Jerry and Lynette Johnson and L.V. Wilson, all of Kankakee, and Stanley Wilson, of Anna; nine sisters and four brothers-in-law, Gloria and Jerry Jones, Geneva (Luther Frye) Wilson, Antoinette and Greg Hawkins, Annie Wilson, Mary and Willie B. Brooks, Brenda and Sammie Harrison, Dorothy (Ray) Wilson, Velma (Damien) Wilson and Stacey Wilson, all of Kankakee; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; an infant son, Irie Wilson; a brother Gedfrey Wilson; one sister, Shirley Wilson; a nephew, Johan Rowe; her grandmother, Alberta Johnson; and her grandfather, Wylie Wilson.
