ServiceNow: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) _ ServiceNow Inc. (NOW) on Wednesday reported a loss of $11.1 million in its second quarter.
The Santa Clara, California-based company said it had a loss of 6 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 71 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 15 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 64 cents per share.
The maker of software that automates companies’ technology operations posted revenue of $833.9 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $830.9 million.
ServiceNow shares have climbed 67% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $296.99, a rise of 61% in the last 12 months.
