ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) — Bruce Djite scored two goals Friday to lead Adelaide United over Melbourne City 4-1 and into the A-League final.

After a scoreless first half, Djite put Adelaide ahead in the 48th minute with a curling shot from the edge of the area. He made it 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 60th.

Nick Fitzgerald got one back for Melbourne in the 72nd minute but Adelaide, which finished the regular season in first place, responded with late goals from Dylan McGowan and Pablo Sanchez.

Adelaide will host the final against either Western Sydney or Brisbane, who play Sunday.
