Undated (AP) _ Alabama Nana romped to an easy 73/4 -length victory Thursday in the $40,000 Mab’s Choice purse for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.

Carrying 117 pounds including Jorge Velasquez, covered 1 1-16 miles in 1:43 1-5 to finish easily in front of Brindy Brindy, 117 and Don MacBeth. Suavite, 119 and Mike Venezia was third, five lengths back.

Very Ultimate and Gwen John completed the order of finish in the field of five.

Alabama Nana, trained by D. Wayne Lukas, maintained a perfect record in three starts since arriving from California.

She was the odds-on favorite of the crowd of 11,208, and earned $24,000 for owner Leonard D. Mathias. Alabama Nana returned $2.80, $2.20 and $2.10. Brindy Brindy paid $2.40 and $2.10, and Suavite $2.10.

Chesire Kitten moved away from the field rounding the final turn and was eased to a two-length victory Thursday in the $11,000 Numbers Account Purse at Bowie Race Course.

Chesire Kitten was timed in 1:46 for a mile and one-sixteenth with jockey Danny Wright to pay $8.20, $5.40 and $3.20.

Lady Lillie B. rallied to finish second by nearly four lengths over Bend An Elbow. Lady Lillie B. paid $7.20 and $3.20; Bend An Elbow $5.40. The 6-8 exacta was worth $89.60.

Pillar Farms’ Chammsky overtook favored Flatterer in the stretch and captured the $22,250 Midsummer Steeplechase Handicap at Monmouth Park on Thursday.

Chammsky was 13/4 lengths ahead of the runner-up at the wire, completing the 12-fence, 21/4 -mile course in 4:193-5. The Ricky Henkriks-ridde n 6- year-old horse paid $11, $3.20 and $2.60.

Flatterer, carrying 170 pounds, returned $2.20 and $2.10, while Huallatiri finished third in the seven-horse field and was $3.40 to show.

Unbeaten Tremor led all the way in winning the $15,000-added Susan B. Anthony Stakes at Ellis Park by 21/2 lengths.

The 3-year-old filly held a short lead during the first 100 yards, then stretched it to two lengths after a quarter-mile.

Pure Sunshine rallied to capture second by a neck over Dangling.

Tremor ran six furlongs in 1:10 2-5 and returned $5.40, $3.40 and $2.60. Pure Sunshine paid $5.20 and $3.20, while Dangling was $2.80 to show.

Helen’s Birdie took an early lead, then pulled away in the stretch to score by two lengths in the $14,450 feature race at Churchill Downs.

The 3-year-old gelding completed six furlongs in 1:10 1-5 and paid $5.80, $3.20 and $2.20. Cabrini’s Dream finished second by four lengths to return $3.40 an $2.20 while Flare Dancer paid $2.20 to show.

Dacertina rallied between horses into the stretch and narrowly outfinished Amapola to capture the $42,000 feature race at Hollywood Park.

Ridden by Chris McCarron, Dacertina finished a nose in front of Amapola, ridden by Frank Olivares. La Mimosa finished third, another half-length back under Darrell McHargue.

Dacertina defeated six rivals in earning $23,100 purse in the race for older fillies and mares. The winner went 1 1-16 miles over a turf course in 1:42 3-5 and paid $5.40, $3.20 and $2.80. Amapola returned $4 and $3.20 and La Mimosa paid $4.60 to show.

Redoy’s Babe, rallying from last in the field of six, caught Sexy Mamma in the final yards to win by a neck in the $14,000 allowance feature at Louisiana Downs.

Redoy’s Babe, ridden by jockey Larry Snyder, sprinted six furlongs in 1:11 and returned $10.20, $6.80 and $4.20.

Sexy Mamma returned $9.80 and $4.80 while Miss Aggie Lue paid $4.40 to show.
