Buford DAR chapter recieves awards

HUNTINGTON — On Sunday, August 18, the Huntington-based Buford Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution hosted the State DAR Western District Meeting at the First Presbyterian Church, Huntington, West Virginia. 69 daughters from the district chapters attended this event.

Buford Chapter received several awards at the meeting including Chapter Achievement Award-Level 1 and National 2nd place tie for Print Coverage. Buford Chapter also received East Central Division Awards for 1st place-Print Coverage, Outstanding Chapter Support-DAR Project Patriot, 3rd Place-Flag of the United States of America, and Financial Support of the State Regent’s Project.
