Rocky road: Havasu man jailed for disorderly conduct
A Lake Havasu City man spent some time in the city lockup after he tried to do some unauthorized landscaping.
According to a report from city police, Dane Conrad Wagner II, 74, is facing charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a public road after a disturbance March 17.
The incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday when Wagner II allegedly shoveled dirt and rocks in the middle of Willow Avenue. When an officer spoke to him, Wagner II said he shoveled the rocks on to the road because he wanted to make an access to his driveway.
The officer said Wagner II refused to clean up the dirt and rocks and wanted the city to do it. The officer said several cars drove past the scene and they had to slow down and drive around the rocks.
