State police participate in checking child passenger safety seats
Pennsylvania State Police will be participating in a free child passenger safety seat check from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 20 at Sipesville Volunteer Fire Department. Any person wanting to have a chlld car seat — rear facing, forward facing or booster seat — checked for proper installation is welcome to attend this community service event, according to police.
Any parent wanting to clarify if their child fits properly in a safety seat belt without a booster seat can also attend.
