Real estate briefs: Westchase office building slated for renovations

DLA Piper has renewed a lease for 25,172 square feet at Wells Fargo Plaza, 1000 Louisiana. David Guion and Tim Relyea with Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Dave Hanusa with CBRE represented the landlord, Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.

Stream Realty Partners has been awarded the leasing and management of 10111 Richmond Ave. in Westchase. Owned by Clarion Partners, the 184,260-square-foot building is 56 percent leased. The building will undergo a renovation program that includes building out the third floor for quick move-ins with office, reception and conference areas. Other updates include landscaping, signage and the lobby.

Palmer Distribution has leased 168,467 square feet at 9033 Spikewood. Matteson Hamilton of Stream Realty Partners represented the landlord, CenterPoint Properties. Bob Berry of Avison Young represented the tenant.

Harbison Walker has leased 21,710 square feet at 4845 Homestead. Kelly Landwermeyer of Holt Lunsford represented the landlord, CenterPoint Properties. Carlton Anderson of CBRE represented the tenant.

SPI LLC has purchased a property at 8317 N. Willow Place from Steadfast Development Co. Marc Drumwright with Southwest Realty Advisors represented the buyer. John Ferruzzo and Travis Land of NAI Partners represented the seller.

Pinnacle Properties has purchased Preferred Storage, a 572-unit self-storage facility at 4300 W. Davis, Conroe. Bill Bellomy and Michael Johnson of Bellomy & Co. represented the seller, Copra Holdings.

Transwestern Investment Group has been retained to manage $250 million in real estate investments on behalf of the Texas Municipal Retirement System.

Gulf Pacific Rice has renewed a 64,175-square-foot lease at 5700 Campbell Road. Jake Wilkinson of NAI Partners represented the tenant.

Big Tree Estates has purchased 5 acres at the northwest corner of Hufsmith Road and Bogs Road near FM 2978 in Tomball. David Alexander and Rob Banzhaf of Newcor Commercial Real Estate, represented the buyer. Todd Edmonds and Michelle Soderberg of Colliers International represented the seller, Prourban Properties.

Cadence McShane Construction Co. has moved to a 6,108-square-foot office at 10370 Richmond. The office has multiple huddling areas and workstations, conference rooms, a break room and nine private offices.

Woodforest National Bank renewed 5,309 square feet at the Southwood Tower, 19221 Interstate 45, Shenandoah. Terri Torregrossa of Moody Rambin represented the landlord, RP Southwood LP.
