Canadian Natural Resources: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (CNQ) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $2.12 billion.
The Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had net income of $1.76 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 65 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 65 cents per share.
The oil and natural gas company posted revenue of $4.43 billion in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $4.16 billion.
Canadian Natural Resources shares have climbed roughly 2% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 33% in the last 12 months.
