A Lake Havasu City man was arraigned Monday on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to the police report, officers were dispatched July 11 to the 900 block of South Acoma Boulevard due to reports of a suspicious vehicle. There, officers allegedly encountered Jordan R. Worcester, 28, in a parked car. He was accompanied by 22-year-old Zai R. Alirez, also of Havasu.
According to the report, officers observed a syringe in plain view, in Alirez’s possession. A search of the vehicle allegedly yielded several needles, aluminum foil, plastic bags, suspected methamphetamine and 15 capped syringes.
Both men were arrested at the scene. Worcester was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Alivez was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Worcester was arraigned in Mohave County Superior Court Aug. 20. Alirez is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 28.
