Norfolk Catholic & Lutheran High Northeast football remain ranked in both polls
The Omaha World Herald & Lincoln Journal Star have updated their high school football rankings.
Norfolk Catholic remains first in the Lincoln Journal Star and second in the Omaha World Herald in Class ‘C-2’. The 5-1 Knights routed Hartington Cedar Catholic last Friday on the road 54-20. They have beaten David City Aquinas, St. Paul, BRLD, Crofton, and Hartington CC while falling to Class ‘C-1’ top ranked Pierce. Norfolk Catholic returns to action on Friday night when they host 4-2 Battle Creek at 7:00 in a game that can be heard on 106 KIX. Lutheran High Northeast remains eighth in the Lincoln Journal Star and move up from ninth to eighth in the Omaha World Herald in Class ‘D-1’. The 4-1 Eagles whipped Elkhorn Valley at home last Friday 60-24. They have beaten Winnebago, Omaha Nation, Howells/Dodge, & Elkhorn Valley while falling to Wakefield. LHNE is back in action on Friday when they visit 3-2 Laurel/Concord/Coleridge at 7:00.
