According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
Deputies charged a Beech Island man Thursday with driving under the influence, failure to stop and no driver’s license after he attempted to evade police at a checkpoint on S.C. 421. Deputies pursued the man until he finally stopped and was arrested.
A 47-year-old North Augusta man was charged with disorderly conduct Thursday after he was seen standing in the middle of the road on Atomic Road. Deputies stopped to talk to the suspect who said invisible people were after him and trying to kill him.
Two men were charged Thursday with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of scheduled narcotics and simple possession of marijuana after the car they were in was searched at a police checkpoint on Augusta Road in Warrenville.

The woman showed deputies security footage of the suspect dressed in camouflage clothes, emerging from the woods behind her home and breaking in. Multiple items were stolen including jewelry and a rifle.
An Aiken man reported Thursday his neighbor’s dog was attacking his chickens in their coop which was located on his property on Edgefield Highway.
Deputies charged a Warrenville man Thursday with malicious injury to personal property after he was seen running into traffic on Pine Street, causing drivers to swerve in the roadway in an attempt to not hit him.
A Graniteville woman called police Thursday claiming her estranged husband had assaulted her during an argument at her Chalk Bed Road residence.
A North Augusta woman called police Thursday claiming a Warrenville man had entered her Cherokee Drive home with a gun and warned everyone in the house he would shoot them if they tried to call police. The victim said the suspect made his way through the home and stole multiple items before fleeing the scene.
A Jackson woman reported Thursday someone struck the garage door at her Runs Creek Drive residence with their truck and then fled the scene.
A Beech Island woman called police Thursday claiming someone had stolen multiple items from a boat that was parked in the backyard of her Pine Log Road home.
A Warrenville man and woman were charged Thursday with second-degree assault and battery and malicious injury to personal property after they showed up to a Graniteville man’s Stephen Road home and assaulted him. The victim said they accused him of breaking into their shed.
