Triumph Group: Fiscal 1Q Earnings Snapshot
BERWYN, Pa. (AP) _ Triumph Group Inc. (TGI) on Wednesday reported a loss of $76.5 million in its fiscal first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of $1.54. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, came to 34 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 36 cents per share.
The aircraft supplier posted revenue of $832.9 million in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $801.8 million.
Triumph Group expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.50 to $2.10 per share, with revenue in the range of $3.3 billion to $3.4 billion.
Triumph Group shares have fallen 26 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 27 percent in the last 12 months.
