Waupun Police Beat 9/28 to 9/30, 2018
Auto theft — Friday at 7:48 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 200 block of South State Street for a report of a stolen 1991 Ford Mustang. The vehicle was later located in Green Lake County. The vehicle had been involved in a high-speed pursuit in Green Lake County in the early-morning hours.
Traffic stop — Saturday at 2:19 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Main Street. A 19-year-old Waupun man was cited for operating without a valid driver’s license.
Disorderly conduct — Saturday at 11:26 p.m., police responded to a tavern in the 400 block of East Main Street for a report of an injured female and a physical altercation. A 33-year-old Waupun woman was injured while attempting to break up a physical altercation between a 58-year-old Chilton man and a 37-year-old Waupun man. The Chilton man was cited for disorderly conduct. The injured woman refused medical attention.
Trespass — Sunday at 1:39 p.m., police responded to a business in the 400 block of East Main Street for a trespass complaint. On Saturday, a former employee had come to the business and was causing a disturbance. Staff was advised to contact police if the subject returned.
