December 6, 2018

State Rep.-elect Jim Rigby invites residents of the 71st District who have state-related questions to contact him toll-free by calling 855-271-9381 as his district office space is being finalized.

“I anticipate the district office space being available in the next couple of weeks, but I wanted to start helping local residents right away,” Rigby said in a press release. “Anyone in need of state government information or services is asked to call the toll-free number.”

Rigby, a Republican, will be officially sworn in for his first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Jan. 1.

He bested incumbent Bryan Barbin with 52 percent of the vote on Nov. 6.

The 71st District includes part of Cambria County consisting of the City of Johnstown; the townships of Adams, Conemaugh, Richland, Stonycreek and West Taylor; and the boroughs of Brownstown, Daisytown, Dale, East Conemaugh, Ehrenfeld, Ferndale, Franklin, Geistown, Lorain, Scalp Level, South Fork, Southmont, Summerhill and Westmont. It also includes Paint Borough in Somerset County.
