Fichardt Leads South African Open

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (AP) _ Darren Fichardt of South Africa shot his second straight 67, making a birdie on the final hole Saturday for a one-stroke lead with one round remaining in the South African Open.

Compatriot Des Terblanche had a 65 to stand at 203, 13 under for 54 holes at Randpark Golf Club.

Paul Eales of England was third at 204 after a 69. England’s John Mellor had a course-record 63, and was five shots off the lead.

Nick Price, returning after a six-week break over the holiday had a 67 for 208.
