Tomball residents invited to Oct. community healthcare events

From women’s health seminars to cosmetic tips for cancer patients, several local healthcare facilities are hosting free educational events this October.

Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center

Breast Cancer Awareness event

Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m.

Physicians will inform and discuss breast cancer topics with guests while enjoying refreshments.

North Cypress Medical Center

Look Good Feel Better event

Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Women with cancer who are experiencing the aesthetic side effects of treatment are invited to this free event that will teach beauty techniques to help counteract these side effects. Preregistration is required to receive a complimentary cosmetic kit.

2nd Annual Womens Health Symposium

Thursday, Oct. 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Physicians will inform attendees about topics concerning women’s health, including cancer and gynecology. Various health services like blood pressure and glucose screenings will be available before and after the event.

Attendees may arrive at 5:30 p.m. to enjoy refreshments.

From 6 to 7 p.m., physicians will give presentations about women’s health topics.

A panel of physicians will answer attendee’s questions from 7 to 7:30 p.m.

Celebrate Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Event

Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
